  • Biography/ Background

    Dr Juliana Bajic is an experienced biomedical researcher and clinical trial coordinator with a strong commitment to improving health outcomes through rigorous, human-centred research. With a background spanning South Australian Government, academia, and nationally funded Defence-aligned programs, she brings a rare combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and empathy-driven leadership. Her expertise includes clinical trial coordination, research governance, multidisciplinary collaboration, scientific communication, and mentoring, underpinned by postdoctoral research experience in psychoneuroimmunology, human performance, and translational health research. Following completion of her PhD in 2019, Juliana has led and supported complex, high-stakes research programs and most recently coordinated the EndoChill Clinical Trial investigating innovative approaches to managing inflammation and pain in endometriosis. Highly adaptable and motivated by meaningful impact, Juliana is driven to contribute her diverse skill set to roles that value integrity, collaboration, and research that genuinely improves people’s lives.

    Dr Bajic has presented her doctoral and post-doctoral research findings at local, national and international scientific conferences through invited talks, oral presentations, and posters. Her work spans psychoneuroimmunology, gut–brain axis dysregulation, chemotherapy-induced toxicities, and human performance, with a strong focus on translational relevance and clinical impact.
