FAQ - Final Graduation Ceremonies
If you are completing your studies with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2025 or with in 2026, you may have questions about how the merger impacts your graduation.

What testamur/parchment will I receive at graduation?
The following outlines how testamurs/parchments, consistent with the regulatory obligations, will be issued to students graduating from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø:
- All students commencing with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø from 2026 (and beyond) will graduate with an 91³Ô¹ÏÍø award.
- Commencing students enrolling in 2025 (and who transfer from the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia to the new university) will receive their award from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
- Students enrolled in or before 2024 (and who transfer from the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø) will receive their award from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø and will be able to elect to have the name and logo of the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia displayed on their testamur (in a manner which is compliant with regulatory requirements).
All students, who complete their studies prior to 2026, regardless of commencement date, will receive an award from their current institution (either the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia), but will also be considered as alumni of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. They will be eligible to receive official confirmation of this from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø should they require it.

Where will I graduate?
If you're attending aÌýgraduationÌýin 2025 or March 2026, ceremonies will be held at the existing institutions in either Bonython Hall (University of Adelaide) or Pridham Hall (UniSA).
Details on the location ofÌýgraduationÌýceremonies scheduled for September 2026 and beyond will be communicated closer to the date.

How do I obtain a copy of my transcript of a supplementary certificate?
Students who graduated from 2017 have access to an electronic transcript viaÌý. If you’re not able to access your transcript via the My eQuals website, please contact ÌýAsk Adelaide.
Any award previously issued by 91³Ô¹ÏÍø remains valid, and unless the original parchment is lost or damaged, there is no requirement for the parchment to be reissued. Should you request a replacement document (due to the original being lost or damaged) a fee will apply.
If you have lost or damaged your parchment from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø you will be able to have a replacement parchment issued by 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
The replacement parchment will bear the logo and seal of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. -
Will I have a choice of the University logo on my academic transcript?
AcademicÌýtranscriptsÌýissued by 91³Ô¹ÏÍø will include the logo of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Students who completed their academic program requirements at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2025 will have the logo of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø on their original academic transcript.
Students completing their studies with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø will recieve a transcript, upon completion, with an Adelaude University logo.
If this is lost/ damaged etc, and you require a replacement after 31 Decmeber 2025, you will recieve one with the logo of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, not 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.

How will the transition to AU affect the name on my degree parchment, if I started my program before the transition but will finish it at AU?
If you are completing your studies by December 31, 2025 you parchment will be issued in the program name you completed at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
All students who have courses/ assessments to complete (except 2025 deferred exams taken in early January 2026) after December 31, 2025 will transition to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
All transitioning students would have received an email in February 2025 with the subject 'Your Transition to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2026', most program names have been updated to reflect equivalent 91³Ô¹ÏÍø programs ahead of transition to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2026.
This means if you are studying at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø from January 2026, atÌýgraduation, your parchment will feature the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø program name.

If I study a course in 2026 Summer, can I graduate in the final conferral period with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø in January 2026?
No. If you have not completed your program requirements by 31 December 2025, you will not be eligible to apply to confer in the final conferral period for 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
In this instance, students will be required to enrol in the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø course, complete with AU, and then apply for conferral from AU when their program requirements have been met in full.Ìý

If I am unable to attend the final 2026 March graduation ceremonies, do I have another opportunity to attend a graduation event?
The final graduation ceremonies under 91³Ô¹ÏÍø banner, held in Bonython Hall, will be held in March 2026.
If you have a legitimate reason as to why you cannot attend these events you may be able to attend the first 91³Ô¹ÏÍø events scheduled for September 2026.
Applications for these events will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, with attendance not guaranteed.
To be considered, eligible students must access their My Adelaide account and select to receive their testamur In Absentia.Ìý They must then register with the Graduations Office by Thursday 15 January 2026 by contacting graduations@adelaide.edu.au
Late applications will not be accepted.
